These terms cover using this website, including the free website health check. They’re short and in plain English. Any project work we do for you is covered separately, by the written proposal and agreement we send you before work starts.

Using this website
You’re welcome to browse, read and share links to this website. Please don’t:
- try to get into parts of the site or its server that aren’t public
- upload or send anything containing viruses or other harmful code
- do anything that overloads the site or stops other people using it
- send our forms false information or someone else’s details without their permission
Information on this website
The information here is general. It isn’t professional advice for your business, so please don’t rely on it alone. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can’t promise it always will be.
Any prices on this website are a guide. The price for your project is the one in your written quote or proposal. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.
The free website health check
The health check is free and there’s no obligation to buy anything afterwards.
- Only ask for a check on a website you own or are allowed to act for. We may decline a request.
- We only look at public pages. We use automated tools and our own review, and we don’t log in or test anything that isn’t public.
- It’s a snapshot. Results reflect the website on the day we check it. Speed scores in particular vary from one test run to the next.
- It’s for information. The report gives our opinion and suggestions. It doesn’t guarantee search rankings, traffic or enquiries, and it isn’t a full security or accessibility audit.
- Changes are up to you. If you or someone else changes your website based on the report, please take a backup first. We’re not responsible for changes we didn’t make.
Our services
Nothing on this website is an offer that can be accepted to form a contract. When you’d like us to do some work, we’ll send you a written proposal and agreement setting out what’s included, the price and the terms. Those documents, not this page, cover the work.
Copyright and trade marks
The words, design, graphics and code on this website belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You can view and print pages for your own reference, but please don’t copy or reuse them for any other purpose without our written permission.
Names and logos of other businesses shown on this site, including clients, belong to their owners.

Where we link to other websites, it’s for your information. We don’t control them and we’re not responsible for their content or how they use your information.
Availability
We work to keep this website available and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free from errors or viruses. We may change or take down any part of it at any time. Please use your own virus protection.

Apart from that:

- If you’re a consumer, this website is for private use. We’re not liable for business losses, and nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
- Because the health check is free, our total liability to you in connection with it is limited to £100.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you use the website is the one that applies, so please check back now and then.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. If you’re a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
